At Schiavello, we understand that the creation of an effective workplace needs to consider more than just the physical space.
Therefore, motivated by our drive to design better work products and environments, Schiavello is working collaboratively with local and international consultants, business leaders and researchers to better understand how the physical workplace can enhance effectiveness at work at the individual, team and organisational level.
Committed to learning and education, we feel that our research should be shared via forums, papers, and our online discussion board, which is open for anyone to peruse or contribute to: www.schiavello.com/forum
Our first series of forums explores the importance of considering the ‘everyday user’ in workplace design; the individuals and teams that actually work in the space. The ensuing discussion to date is focused around how the physical workplace can actually improve employee effectiveness.
