Canadian architects Todd MacAllen and Stephanie Forsyth conceived the Molo Soft Collection as a sculptural solution to dynamically partition open space and create more intimate and ephemeral surroundings.
The basis of the Soft Collection is Softwall, however there is also a range of Softblocks, Softseating and accessories available upon request. Softwall can be used as a partition or sculptural backdrop to transform a space in a flexible and temporal way.
Softwall
Softwall is a lightweight, fold out, freestanding textile wall made from a flexible honeycomb structure. Softwall can be used in any curved formation making it ideal for workplaces, open plan houses and exhibits. Schiavello carries 1.8m white textile versions, with alternative sizes, materials and colours available on request.
Softblocks
Flexible honeycomb building blocks that can be stretched horizontally and stacked. They are fitted with embedded magnetic connectors which can be used to anchor one or both ends of each Softblock to another Softblock, or a fixed surface such as a metal pillar or wall.
Softseating
Made entirely from heavyweight kraft paper or water resistant polyethylene-based, non-woven textile, Softseating’s tight honey comb structure fans open to create stools, benches, tables and lounges. Softseating can be used creatively and interchangeably as seating or as low tables and can compress for convenient storage.
The Softseating range also has magnetic end panels that allow two or more modules to be connected, presenting various configuration possibilities.
Schiavello is pleased to be the exclusive distributor of the Molo Soft Collection in Australia. |
