Below-Desk Service Modules

An unobtrusive solution to easy access to power and communications outlets, this module is built in and mounted underneath the worktop. Cable bumper fins prevent cables from being scissored by the lid when it closes, instead pushing them through a flap to keep them neat, hidden and safe. The module can be mounted onto any worktop with a thickness greater than 10mm and can be fitted with an optional under-mounted cable catch tray, which keeps excess cables tidy and prevents them from falling to the floor.

The Undercarriage with Umbilical Module is built in and mounted underneath the worktop, providing easy access to power and communications outlets. Suited best for meeting or boardroom tables, the module allows for the option of a custom joinery access flap. The standard size facilitates quad power and four data communications.

A cost effective solution for mounting electrical services beneath a worktop, the Single Sided Undercarriage outlet is built in and mounted underneath the worktop, providing easy access to power and communications outlets. The module allows for the option of a custom joinery access flap, while the standard size allows for quad power and two Tiles.

The Angled Power And Data Holder For Cable Ducts clips onto cable ducts, allowing power and data to easily be accessed underneath the workstation. The standard size allows for quad power and four data communications.

Schiavello Electrical Modules are locally made in our design studio and factory in Melbourne, Australia. Featuring between 1-4 power outlets and USB data outlets, modules cater to above-desk, below-desk or in-desk for any workstation setting.

Each power module is compact and ultrasonically welded, resulting in a smooth, neat and uninterrupted finish with no fixings. A smart solution for providing power and communications to worktops, the modules can be powder coated in a range of colours to ensure the unit blends seamlessly into the work setting.

Schiavello Electrical Modules are developed under closed-loop manufacturing practices, with each module containing a percentage of repurposed regrind and sprue remnants to ensure a low-waste practice.

Developed in 2010, the extensive ‘Lettric’ range of electrical modules complements Schiavello’s market-leading collection of workplace furniture solutions. In order to supply a complete workstation package, Peter Schiavello identified an opportunity to develop innovative and new electrical components, including customisable modules and accessories. The range includes both Above and Below-Desk Service Modules and chargers, softwiring and cable management solutions.

The Schiavello Design Studio comprises a number of talented product designers and engineers. The studio has been the driving force behind a number of Schiavello’s most successful designs, including Krossi - the first and only Australian made and designed sit/stand desk – in 2013, the pioneering Climate malleable workplace system in 2010, the industry-leading acoustics ‘room within a room’, Focus Quiet Room collection in 2019 and the innovative sofa collection Valli in 2022.
