Designed by the internationally acclaimed design duo Doshi Levien, it’s name comes from the French word ‘parler’, which means ‘to converse, discuss or confer’.

Suitable for standing meeting and team brainstorming environments, the table pairs strength with warmth through its natural palette. This, combined with softly rounded surfaces, results in a table that is unimposing and ideal for professional, everyday interactions.

The tabletop is available in three shapes: round, square or rectangle and features a sharknose edge detail. The Parley High Table is available in a selection of finishes from the Schiavello ColourLab range.

Founded by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien over 10 years ago, Doshi Levien is an internationally acclaimed design studio based in London.

Nipa’s work is strongly influenced by her upbringing in India, where she began to explore the link between craft, design and cultural identity, while Jonathan trained in fine cabinet making before perusing industrial design.

Schiavello and Doshi Levien first collaborated on the successful OTM Table, introduced in 2015, which is celebrated for its ergonomic support and intuitive adjustments. Building on this collaboration, came the original Parley Table. With Parley Table already an adored element of the Schiavello offering, Parley High Table developed naturally. A standing table such as Parley High Table provides staff with the option to move from a sitting to a standing postures, promoting movement and the need for the body to alter positions throughout the day.

With ABW and agile working commonplace nowadays, the workplace calls for flexible furniture. The Parley High Table is the standing solution to its predecessor, providing a place for standing meetings or working within the agile office.
