The Jamie Larcombe Centre opened today after months of careful planning, collaboration and construction, marking a new beginning of advanced healthcare for our Veterans and their families.
The Centre was officially opened on Thursday 5 October 2017 by the Larcombe family, Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
Part of the South Australian Government’s Transforming Health plan, the $15 million state of the art facility is a new Veterans’ mental health precinct located at Glenside Health Service Campus, providing mental health and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) services to Veterans.
Delivering a $15 million facility akin to a hospital is an extremely proud achievement for Schiavello and the project partners who made this possible.
