Schiavello offices nationwide showed off their prettiest pink outfits in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation

Between 18-24th of June, our staff across Australia showed their support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation by wearing pink around the office.

The pink wasn’t contained to shirts and ties though. Our offsite staff turned heads across construction sites as they traded their orange hi-vis safety gear for pink vests and hard hats.

Raising awareness and showing support

The week wrapped up with a special morning tea at Schiavello headquarters where we gathered around a feast of pink coloured treats including cakes, biscuits, and Krispy Kreme donuts (which lasted all of two minutes!)

The morning tea also gave us an opportunity to come together and share stories of how breast cancer has touched nearly all of our lives, and to start building a support community.

“We’re very proud of the awareness raised throughout the week and how eagerly our staff took on the opportunity to go pink! It’s great that we’ve started the conversation around breast cancer – I hope that knowing there’s support among colleagues will make a difference,” Lauren Grinter, Marketing Coordinator, Schiavello Construction.
