Three businesses under the one roof

The Motor Trade Association of Western Australia and the Automotive Institute of Technology purchased an existing office and warehouse building in Balcatta, WA, previously built and partly occupied by the Royal Automotive Club (RAC).

Schiavello Construction worked closely with JUO to transform the premises, which remained partly occupied by the RAC, into a space that would allow all three business (RAC, MTA and AIT) to coexist under one roof.

Works included demolition of the back warehouse, floor resurfacing, new amenities, wash stations, signage, and partitioning. The existing storerooms and mezzanines were demolished to make way for 5 vehicle hoists, equipment and parts storage, as well as two classrooms and a demonstration area.

Additionally, executive offices were enlarged and a new meeting space was introduced for staff training.
