Daron Johnson Director – Senior Construction Manager
Daron Johnson is a Construction Manager for Schiavello’s Victorian Construction division. With more than 35 years of experience in the construction and commercial building industries, he has completed a vast range of projects from small to $60 million plus in value. During his 30 years with Schiavello, his objective has remained clear; to complete every project on time, on budget, to the highest standard of quality, and with complete client satisfaction.
Robert Volarevic Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager for Schiavello’s Victorian Construction division, Robert Volarevic approaches every project with an absolute client-central focus. He applies a practical yet methodical approach to his responsibilities, including estimating, programming, project management, and systems improvements. Robert is passionate, knowledgeable and experienced, with more than 20 years of industry experience, from site work to tertiary education.
Andrew Howard Construction Manager
Andrew Howard is a Construction Manager for Schiavello’s Victorian Construction division. He brings more than 15 years of office fitout and refurbishment industry experience to his role, where his deep understanding and skill base enables to drive successful results for clients each and every time.
Cale Halasa Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager for Schiavello’s Victorian Construction division, Cale Halasa is responsible for overseeing all construction operations and ensuring client success at every stage. He is dedicated to providing a high level of client support and draws upon his breadth of experience and deep skill set to add value to each step of the process from conceptual work to project delivery.
Leigh Swords Construction Manager
Having delivered in excess of $200 million in projects during his time at Schiavello, Leigh has been responsible for workplace, education, retail and hospitality projects. His effective design management skills have lead to many successful projects in the construction and fit-out space.
Through early engagement, Leigh focuses on putting the client needs at the forefront in terms of value engineering, cost management and programme optimisation. From flagship retail sites to heritage and new build projects, Leigh is an expert in complex project delivery and solution development.
Amanda Wright Design Manager
Coming from one of Asia-Pacific's leading interior design firms, Geyer, Amanda Wright brings in excess of 12 years experience in Workplace, Retail, Hospitality and Education.
With front end client interfacing skills, Amanda engages with clients to understand their needs to achieve the projects best outcomes in terms of the aspirational, functional and operational. She works Both Schiavello internal resources and external consultants throughout the project and focuses on design management and value engineering.
James Hillman Account Director
Worldly and business savvy, James aims to cultivate strong relationships between Schiavello and its clients, both new and existing. He becomes heavily involved with each project he takes on, playing a key role during the early planning stages, right through to construction and post-occupancy.

Having worked on a number of multi-million dollar projects including the Astral Hotel, Park Royal Darling Harbour and HCF, Michael defines a successful project where he's managed to reduce cost and improve the overall efficiency of the design construction process.

Passionate about positive client outcomes and an eye for detail, Caitlin’s role focuses on open communication and design resolution between project managers, the construction team and designers to ensure the clients best interests are looked after across all phases of design and delivery.
Beginning her career in residential architecture, Caitlin worked on the iconic Hotel Saxony in the Faena District Miami, establishing her interior design credentials in the hospitality sector. Upon returning to Australia, Caitlin’s desire for quality has seen her deliver workplaces for some of Australia’s leading companies.

Luke has over 15 years industry experience. He has been with the Schiavello Construction business for 3 years and has led the delivery of a number of award-winning projects, most notably, the SkyCity Adelaide Casino upgrade and the heritage façade restoration of the iconic Adelaide Railway Station.
Ian Tan Construction Manager
With more than 18 years of global experience in project and construction management, Ian Tan brings a wealth of knowledge to Schiavello. His capabilities in establishing and applying ‘project controls’ have contributed to the successful delivery of large, complex, and fast-tracked projects across sectors, from financial institutions to data centres, high end corporate fitouts and more.
Tony Tsakalos Commercial Manager
Tony has 27 years experience in commercial and residential construction estimating including Lump Sum, Design and Construct, Project Management and Cost Planning. Tony leads an experienced Estimating Team, where his attention to detail has proven him in these enterprises to be very effective in the competitive tendering field, which is further endorsed by his knowledge of current tendering trends. Tony’s calm and collected approach whilst compiling detailed cost analysis places him well to ensure ultimate value for the client.

Originally from the UK, Matt Bailey brings 25 years industry experience to the role of State Director of Schiavello Construction (WA). Matt has acquired a vast skill set within the construction industry, both technical and practical, along with a clear understanding of the importance of teamwork. He has successfully established and managed a construction company in Perth, exceeding client expectations on all accounts and as a result has a strong rapport within the community.
